Department of General Genetics

The chair of "General Genetics" (Lehrstuhl für Allgemeine Genetik) belongs to the Center of Plant Molecular Biology (ZMBP). The research activities in GG are in the fields: Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Genetic Engineering of plants. The work of the four research groups in GG has several different basic and applied aspects; it is integrated in local (DFG-SFB), national (DFG, BMBF), and international (EC) co-operative research programs.
